Through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), building industry professionals have the opportunity to earn designations that improve their skills and increase their knowledge. NAHB has targeted curriculum, accomplished instructors and respected educational opportunities that make achieving one or more designations true accomplishments.

CAPS -- Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist
The CAPS designation program teaches the technical, business management and customer service skills essential to competing in the aging in place market.

CGB -- Certified Graduate Builder
CGB is an exclusive professional designation to emphasize business and project management skills for builders.

CGP -- Certified Green Professional
The CGP designation teaches builders, remodelers and other industry professionals techniques for incorporating green building principles into homes--without driving up the cost of construction. 

GMB -- Graduate Master Builder
The GMB program allows industry professionals who already have completed either the Certified Graduate Builder or the Certified Graduate Remodelor course to more fully develop their skills and provides in-depth instruction geared for experienced building professionals.
