May 9, 2008 Nagan, Home Building Technology Services, inducted into Hall of Fame
In March 2008, Joe Nagan, Home Building Technology Services, became the first inductee into the Energy Center of Wisconsin's Educator's Hall of Fame. VHBA Member Joe Nagan is a regular presenter at Energy Center training programs, teaching advanced air sealing techniques, design and installation of mechanical ventilation systems, best practices for energy efficient cold climate houses and home performance testing. Nagan has personally inspired builders throughout the Midwest to adopt better building practices. www.ecw.org

Fox Cities Chapter of Credit Unions raise $32,000 for Children's Hospital Through a variety of fundraising efforts over the past year, the Fox Cities Chapter of Credit Unions has contributed $32,000 to Children's Miracle Network. A check was presented to the Children's Hospital Foundation at the recent Fox Cities Chapter of Credit Unions monthly meeting held at the Darboy Club. The Fox Cities Chaper of Credit Unions is comprised of several area credit unions, including VHBA Members Capital Credit Union, Community First Credit Union, Fox Communities Credit Union, Lakeview Credit Union and Unison Credit Union.

Martenson & Eisele Inc. Turns Green Brian Olesen, PE, a project engineer for Martenson & Eisele Inc., recently passed the LEED New Construction Exam, to become certified as a LEED Accredited Professional.
The LEED Green Building Rating System offers guidance on green building practices in the areas of sustainable site design, water efficiency, renewable energies, building system efficiency, indoor environmental quality, material recycling and reuse and construction waste management.

Lakeview Credit Union's New Office Now Open Lakeview Credit Union celebrated the opening of its newest Fox Cities Office located at 1435 S. Oneida St., just south of Hwy. 441.
Grand opening festivities, held through March 15, featured drawings, product specials, prize drawings, live radio remote broadcasts and other activities. A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house was held on Wednesday, March 12. www.lakeviewcu.org
