The 2009 Parade of Homes (POH) features new construction by 32 VHBA Builder Members, along with the products and services of hundreds of VHBA Associate Members.
On this self-guided tour, you create your own itinerary! Visit the homes on any days of the event, and in any order.
To make the most of your tour, you'll receive a guide book with ticket purchase. Use the overview fold-out map in the center of the book and the detailed maps on each builder's page to locate the homes. While you're driving, notice the directional signs at key intersections. Also, the homes in the event will be easily identified by the PARADE sign in the front yard or driveway.
Roughly half of the homes in the event are for sale, while others are contract homes which the homeowners have graciously opened to the public.
Just a reminder before you begin the tour: all guests must wear booties/foot coverings - no shoes are allowed; do not bring your pets to the tour; photographing the homes is not allowed; eating, drinking and smoking is not permitted; strollers are not allowed in the homes, and all children under 12-years-old must be in the same room as their adult chaperone - no exceptions. The tour happens rain or shine... please leave umbrellas in garages when you go through the homes.
